Visual representation of ‘evening up’ touching tics
I’ve wanted to do this for a while - a visual represenation of what I feel (not see) all the time and how I touch things (or ‘distance touch’ things - see videos ‘Complex phantom tics’ and ‘Synesthesia relating to Tourette’s’) in order to ‘even things up’ and try to get rid of the ‘patches of tension’ (phantom tics).
Please note: this is an overly-simplified version. It’s far, far more complicated (and uncomfortable) than balancing circles!
I would have done a much better job of showing the ‘patches’, but this is as good as my video editing software will allow me to make it.
(But why did I do it on an Airwolf DVD boxset? lol)
This is not a comedy. If you are looking for something to laugh at, please go elsewhere.
If you have any (polite, respectful, genuine, mature) questions, please go ahead and ask and I’ll do my best to try and answer them for you

Hey, I get that too …
Hey, I get that too! I suppress it if I’m in a social situation that would make it weird to act on it, but I’ve experience that exactly!! If I touch something too much it bothers me and I have to move where I’ve touched it…? I do think I have some mild metal issue like this… Sometimes my fingers feel funny and I have to touch them until the feeling goes away… Nobody else seems to notice, and it’s really sporadic, but that’s a good representation of that!
i mean the “having …
i mean the “having to even it up ” to make you feel comfortable, i have clients who feel like they must tap each segment of a wall as they walk down a corridor, or blink when they see the hand on a clock move.
Everyone has some form of Autism this is FACT. chewing pen lids, tapping your fingers without listening to music. these are all “acceptable” traits. but if someone taps a wall every two seconds its classed as weird..
Anywaaaaay…. lol yeah, small traits of Autism
What traits? Do you …
What traits? Do you mean the tics/compulsions can also be seen in autism, or is there something else that is suggestive of autism?

Ich hochgeladen haben eine deutsche Version. Bitte entschuldigen Sie meine schlechte Deutsch. Ich bin Autodidakt mit einem Wörterbuch und Sprachführer. Mein Freund ist Deutsch, auch mir geholfen zu lernen, einige ein paar Jahren. Meine Aussprache und Akzent sind auch schlecht.

If I have time tomorrow, I will try to upload one with German subtitles, but I’m afraid my German is not very good at all (self-taught using dictionary and phrase book, backed up with Google translator) and trying describe Tourette’s is difficult enough in English!
I will try though. If I forget, please remind me

I thought about it, but I would have to do so many years of general training etc. and I don’t think I have the organisational skills for a start (see video ‘Why can I do the Rubik’s cube but not organise my things?’).
