For those of you who will come here and say that marijuana has no affect on hormones… I’ll go as far to agree it may not significantly affect it long term. But there is a drop in testosterone for 24 hours after smoking one joint.

Well.. I’ve been smoking weed casually from 16-18 and from 19-21 its been crazily out of control. Anywhere from a gram to 3 a day. Anywhere from 5 spliff and or 1-4 blunts a day.. I’ve also seen acne come as well as my life spin out of control because of the prevalent skin problem/overuse of weed.

So, I’m putting a halt to it. I know it how this all has changed me, so you don’t need to tell me :)

My question is… If weed causes a 24 hour depressed testosterone level and I’ve smoked all the time for around 3 years now… Could this hormone imbalance from smoking cause skin problems/delayed puberty/hampered gym results? and of course you can just add all the side affects of weed on the list too lmao.

Both weed and acne have controlled and destroyed my life (I won’t get into how and or why, it just has). Some may say it’s not an excuse, well its my truth and it’s one truth I’m no longer going to accept.

My second question is could this all be a linked chain of destruction?
Weed helping and or causing my skin problem, which in return ****s up my mental and emotional wellness. While weed also and now more lack of fitness/proper diet (yes i know acne from here too) has ****ed up my physical health.

Could the combination of these two be a huge source of my… unhappiness, not being where I want to be (though its all in my head), not following though, etc… I know the answer is yes, I just want to hear peoples opinions on this.

I as a weed smoker everyday several times a day will agree with you to a point. i don’t think the acme is due to the weed however based on what you eat to control the hunger you get from weed. i know the testosterone level drops a lot and will continue to be low until you purge your body of it. i don’t agree that weed is the reason your not where you want to be. i am very happy in my life and i smoke a lot. its all about moderation and control. you can still be who you want to be and keep weed in your life if you want to however the economic value will probably be the same unless you move to where it is more plentiful or cut down your usage. i feel your looking for an out as to why you feel and act the way you do and all though weed may be a contributing factor its not the main cause. the main cause is you
