Is society a positive or negative influence in these dimensions of health? Support your decision by explaining the ways society influences people.

The household you grow up in makes all the difference. If you live in a household which encourages right and is there for you, most things will be well in your life. But if the media, not your family, is your view on the world, you grow up seeing violence, murder, and other nasties, never really being told that they are wrong. Society influences people like a potter influences clay. If he takes the time to mold it into something great, and bakes it in an oven, then you will have something great. But if he leaves his half-creation in the elements, and lets it bake while being rained on, leaves blowing into it, getting all muddy; then he will have half, no- a quarter- of the creation that he could have had.

Music psychology is a sub-discipline of musicology. Music psychology can shed light on non-psychological aspects of musicology and musical practice. For example, music psychology contributes to music theory by investigating the perception of musical structures such as melody, harmony, tonality, rhythm, meter, and form. Research in music history can benefit from psychologically inspired, systematic study of the history of musical syntax, or from psychological analysis of the personalities of composers in relation to the psychological effect of their music.

Music therapy is an interpersonal process in which a trained music therapist uses music and all of its facets—physical, emotional, mental, social, aesthetic, and spiritual—to help clients to improve or maintain their health.

Signs of Tic Disorder or Tourettes Syndrome?

I’m 19 years old and for the past 5 years I’ve noticed that I have many tics which include clearing my throat and sniffing about 50 times a day even when I’m not sick. I just get this feeling in my throat that I need to clear it. I also pull at my clothes every day, turn my neck, and make strange facial twitches with my eyes, nose, and mouth. And for some reason I feel the need to touch certain objects just to see what they feel like. I also get this urge to repeat words over and over when I mispronounce them. I can control these tics somewhat in front of other people but the hardest to control are my facial twitches. Any help?

With Tourettes, the symptoms are involuntary but some people can sometimes suppress or managew their tics in an effort to minimizetheir effort on funcitoning,. Suppressing causes a great deal of tension, until the tic must be expressed.

Many have ADHD, problems with reading writing and arithmetic, and obsessive compulsive symptoms such as intrusive throughts/worries and repetitive behaviors; depression or anxiety disorders.

Diagnosis include both motor and vocal tics for a least 1 year
